Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.....

To all our amazing speakers - Maggie Philbin, Rachel Armstrong, Lloyd Davis, Ben Walker, Mat Morrison

To Stewart Townsend and Sun Startup Essentials, for the help, sponsorship, great venue and hospitality

To our Tuttle Club Front Desk volunteers who gave willingly of their time - Joanne Jacobs, Janet Parkinson and Julia Shalet.

To my Broadsight colleagues who did a lot of the backroom heavy lifting - shout out especially to Paul Lancefield who wrote this website, a labour of love considering he taught himself the latest release of Drupal to do it.

TEDxTuttle Event - A first report from the trenches

TedxTuttle is full

Sadly, we've hit our 90 person limit already. We had no idea it would be this popular!

I have sent out emails to those confirmed.

For those not confirmed, we will start a waitlist, I'm sending out separate emails to those people showing their positions on the waiting list.

If anybody who is confirmed cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can give the place to someone on the waiting list.

Confirming attendance - timings

We've had about 60 applications on Day One, nice to see everyone so keen but its a big lump to get through :-)

If you allow 48 hours for confirmation that gives us time to do the admin in and around the day job.

Welcome to TEDxTuttle

In May this year we were tipped off that the TEDx program was running, and decided after a moment's thought to run TEDxTuttle. TED agreed (do they know what they have let themselves in for ;-) ) and the rest, as they say, is history.

Anyway, I volunteered the rest of the crew at Broadsight for building the website, running the video systems, editing, processing and helping organise the technical side of TEDx etc.
